Hey guys!!

No pic today.... I had to take a proofing break and totally organize my office space...it was dreadful, and has been a long time coming!!! Today I dedicated an entire afternoon to it, and now its lovely!! Not 100% but SOOOO much better!! Thank goodness for label makers! hehehe!!

I will be out of town all weekend(wedding in Mattoon and Church like usual!), but I will be sure to update with pics from my busy days! I hope you guys all have a lovely weekend!

Helllllllllllllooooo everyone!! I'm cheating AGAIN, this was from like a week ago, but you know what, I literally had no time today. Some days I wonder what it would be like to be not busy....I dream of that, I mean really what IS that like?! I have people say to me "You stay home, how can you be SO busy?" Okay, let me just tell ya...I'm running my own business (very successful, I might add!) and could keep my 24 hours full everyday, I assure you! (Shooting, proofing, order filling, appointments & meetings, emails, phone calls, making orders pretty once they do arrive....and it continues even more from there!!!) But on top of that huge time consumer, I home school my 2 little boys, attend every single service at my church that is ever an option, teach sunday school class each week AND run my household as a normal stay-at-home mommy would!!! ....there is no free time, none, nada!!! Some days I'm amazed I get it all done, but it's by God's grace that I get it done and get it ALL done. Yes, I can get scatterbrained, but that's to be expected when you have THAT much on your plate day in and day out!! Now...that being said here is my pic of the day that's not from today! ..Seeee, I have proof I have very have good reason each time post a keeper from a different day *wink* (Just saying that all at once makes me tired, bwhahaha!!) I'm SO very hyper right now, so pardon my very looooong post!!! I mean yes, it's is a lot for me, but I love it...I realllllllly love it. I think I thrive on it!! Life is GOOD!!

Day238!!

Today is a special post! My newpaper ad just showed up today, so of COURSE I had to take pic's of that for my picture of the day! Hurray! I think it turned out pretty nice...and it ended up on page 2 so that's fabulous as well!


There are 4 little ones in that Ad, and I'm sure thie mommy's and Daddy's will want a copy so I'm gonna try and wrestle up a 4 more copies for them! I dont wanna use thier full names online, so I'll just post first names...left to right...Kylie, Ryleigh, McKenna and Campbell.


I used a local paper to try and hit some new areas around me so all my Chillicothe people, I'm sorry I dont think you will see this!! However, I'll make up for it sometime soon ;)

Today has been crazy busy as usual, but I got to start proofing this beautful lady's session! I'm just about done...and as as I sit here working away I realized I totally forgot about my blog! Whoooops!! So here we go, you get a special treat, goodness sakes she is SO pretty!!

I just got a chair exactly like this in cream at an antque store and I love it SO much. I have used it in like 5 sessions since I got it. Well they had this one too, I went back Sunday hoping it was still there...and still 30% off and it was! So, now its mine...allllll mine. hehehe!!

Saturday evening I got a phone call from a girlfriend of mine and she says, "Shellie, I'm at a yard sale and they have a vintage baby scale for 10 bucks!" ....seee, now do I have good friends everywhere, or what?! I told her to grab it and I got it at church Sunday...so I thought it would be suiting to post a pic of it as my pic of the day today! Its in GREAT shape too!

I had a maternity session today for these lovely parents-to-be! They were SO sweet, we got so many because we did studio and outdoors...of course I had to post an outdoor image becaaaause they are 99.9% of the time my favorites! hehehe!! The baby is due 2 weeks from today...so keep watching, eventually I'll have that little man on here to show off too!!! ....OH and don't you wish when you were 2 weeks away from your due date that you looked THAT good???? My goodness, she is just beautiful!!!!

See my baby??? My BABY was an usher at church Wednesday night!!!! Oh my, i'm so glad I had brought my camera....THAT is a moment you never wanna forget because he did that for the Lord...and he's 4!! What a little man he has become!!!

Have you ever tried to do something nice for a grandparent and it turn out to be an IMPOSSIBLE task??? Well, I did tonight. We rounded up all the grandkids for a session to get a nice picture (note that I just hoped for ONE!!) for our grandparents for Christmas gifts while the weather is nice...I have one word for you, CHAOS. Total and utter chaos. Oh my...the oldest was 9 and the youngest is a year old and there were 7 of them total, can you say crazy?? Yes, very, very crazy!!!!!

I can't even get to them for at least a week, but I did peak, because I had too...I got a few of this little man that are so cute!! This is Seandon, I'll have to post a close up of him eventually...his eyes are SO blue!!! I just loved this shot with his little hat and outfit, what a cutie face!





















And now, I wanna take a 5 year vacation simply to recover from this blessed event that has occured tonight!!!

Look, look!!! ....I'm not supposed to proof this session yet because I have 3 sessions ahead of hers to get done first, but I HAD to peak!! This little lady came in yesterday because she was JUST born...4 days ago as a matter of fact! She is SOOO cute!! I had to grab one for my Day229. She is my newest baby planner so you will get to watch her grow along with me!

Guys look how beautiful it is here?!?! The skies and the fall colors starting in the corn and grass! I love it!!!! I'm SOOOO sad, the farmers are starting to plow all of the fields now, so its just a matter of days before the corn is gone....I always get so depressed, but yet I love to watch them do it. YOu get 4 today because I like all of them!

Look! I'm cheating because thats ME!....I needed a new pic for my website, so my hubby helped me out! (I got a new hair cut, again!) Plus, I made him do some other fun ones like this shot because I have an idea. BUT! We have to try again, his focus is not so great! haha!

...I'll be nice and I cut him some slack since he has no idea what he's doing! It's much easier for me to set the camera and let him shoot some than to use a tripod, thats for sure!! He is a good listener, but he is unwilling to LAY on the ground! Can you believe that? HA!

Sunday afternoon we had lunch with our preacher and his lovely wife, and then we drove down Grandview Drive so I could see how pretty!

So like 1/4th a mile away from me, is THIS fantastic dirt road...it's hardly used. I just looooooove it. OH how I love it. I wanted to take pictures of it as examples for my business blog and show it off as a great location spot! Well, Luke hopped out of the van and was running around like a crazy man. So remember the session I had that I wanted to post, but forgot the release forms (because i'm a scatterbrain?!) ?Well, this is a shot from the session!

We did family pictures, and let me tell you, they make a BEAUTFUL family! But this one, the mommy loves and it always thrills me when a client lets me know how much they enjoy certain images...I can see why she loves this, look at them?! No wonder they have beautiful children, they are one beautiful couple!!!!

Okay, so these were Taken Labor Day, not Sunday! But, sunday we had church all day and had to go desk shopping and shoes shopping, so I have no pics! Here are 2 with my little toy camera from today as a "make up" hehehe!!

**I have decided to start stamping my copyright on everything now since I have been seeing SOOO many stories about people stealing pictures online and using them to claim to be someone else!! It bothers me that someone could save a picture of my boys and claim them as thier child! (toooo creepy) Sooo, might be cheesy but I'm putting my name on ALL my online pictures, even if they are just little snapshots like this.

This was from last night, but I gotta use it for todays pic! Today the only shots I have are from my session and I'm goober and forgot to bring release forms with me...boo!! I'm so sad becaaaause...OH MY, I looked at them a minute ago and we got some nice shots!

Okay, so last night I met up with my girlfriends from highschool, and I'm quite sure the last time all 4 of us were together was actually DURING highschool!! Sad, huh?! Little bit! We had a great time though, aren't they so cute?! We are going to make it a monthly thing, I'm excited! I'm the one on the right in the pink & white in case you didnt know, hehehe!!! Our 10 year reunion is in a week...and now since I saw "my girls" I really wanna go! *sigh* memories...
